Dedicated Shiva Temple, SRI MAHA KALESHWAR MANDIR, opening on MAHASHIVARATRI Sunday FEB. 19th 10:30 AM. Jyotirlingam is a 6 foot black granite stone with 1116 Shiva lingams inscribed in it.
Swami Sathasivom Sivachariar, the visionary behind this temple and chief priest of Kalikambal Temple, Chennai, will inaugurate the temple and lead devotees in performing abhishekam and puja for Lord Shiva.
As in the tradition of Jyotirlingams everyone is allowed to perform abhisekham. We welcome one and all to come and join us.
Dance and Music performances starts 11am.
