About Atul Bhatnagar
Until recently, Atul was the CEO of Ixia (Nasdaq: IXIA). Under his leadership Ixia more than doubled its revenue with 20% operating margins along with three transformative acquisitions. Atul is a passionate coach for emerging leaders and encourages innovation, global approach to accelerating business and people leadership.
He started his career at HP and held various senior management positions leading as GM of OpenView Telecom Network Management & Internet Appliance group. After acquiring resilient foundation for progressive people and business management at HP, he became the VP of Advanced Products at AlteonWebSystems in May 2000. Prior to Ixia, he served as General Manager for the Enterprise Data Network division of Nortel bringing in about $1B revenue to the company.
Atul holds a BSEE from BITS, Pilani, India and MSEE from University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, USA. He serves on the Advisory Board of School of Business, Saint Mary's College of California, Moraga. He also serves on President's Advisory Council for Olin College of Engineering, Boston, MA.
